Description: Capa vectorial por medio del mapa de coberturas vegetales en el area permitio la definicion de tres (3) mapas tematicos con diferentes categorias y calificaciones o pesos segun el tipo de cobertura existente para los siguientes factores de analisis: tipo de combustible, carga de combustible y duracion del combustible. Una vez establecidas las respectivas calificaciones y generados los mapas de tipo, duración y carga de combustibles, se procedió a la realización del producto entre cada uno de ellos (álgebra de mapas); el resultado obtenido se agrupa posteriormente en 5 categorías mediante una distribución de frecuencias y a cada grupo se le asignó una calificación que varía entre susceptibilidad muy baja (rango menor) a susceptibilidad muy alta (rango mayor), mediante la siguiente ecuación: SUSC= CAL(tc) + CAL(dc) + CAL(ct). Los resultados fueron plasmados en el mapa de susceptibilidad ante incendios. Los elementos son en formato vectorial tipo poligono representados bajo el sistema de coordenadas MAGNA-Colombia-Oeste. Para la elaboracion del shapefile se utilizaron los datos del analisis del tipo de combustible, carga de combustible y duracion dle combustible segun los mapas elaborados y basado en la cobertura vegetal del area.
